Age 86 of East Grand Forks and longtime Crookston resident, died March 4. The funeral will be March 13 in East Grand Forks.

Iva was a longtime resident of Crookston, MN and an employee of Central High school. She retired to East Grand Forks in 1989 and for the last 2 1/2 years was a resident at Good Samaritan Heritage Grove. She had a strong faith in God, loved to go fishing and grow a big garden. Iva worked hard and kept her faith in Jesus Christ. She left this earth with a prayer on her lips, “If I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.”

She is survived by daughters, Linda (Chris) Becker of Inver Grove Heights, Dolly (Craig) Tweten of Grand Forks, ND, Julie (Bill) Brodeur of Fargo, ND; 8 grandchildren, Martha Hoeppner, Sarah Lent; Jesse, Brad, Talia Tweten; Amanda Brodeur, Nicole Johnson and Luke Brodeur; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Boumans of Great Falls, MT.

She was preceded in death by parents, Otto and Iva Schulz of Euclid, MN; sisters, Lucille Perkins and Elizabeth Snartland; brothers, Conrad and Raymond Schulz; first husband, Arthur Schultz; and second husband, Robert Anderson.

The funeral service will be at 2 PM Tuesday, March 13 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, 1515 5th Ave. N.W., East Grand Forks. Visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment at St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, Euclid.
