Charles Cammack (1932-2022)

Charles F. Cammack of Dunwoody, GA died peacefully at home on April 24. Charlie was born and raised in New Ulm, MN before moving to Crookston, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Sally Brunelle. He graduated from St. John’s University and remained a supportive alum, endowing the school with a scholarship for future students from Crookston.

Charlie was an officer in the US Marine Corps before joining IBM where he spent a 30-year career. He was also a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and an avid Atlanta Braves fan.

Charlie is survived by his wife of 67 years Sally Brunelle Cammack, five children Patti Cammack, Cathy Tatum (Richard), Michael Cammack (Kate), Liz Jones (Alan) and Mary Eitel (Tony), four grandchildren Robbie Mailhoit, Michael Mailhoit, Matthew Eitel and Caroline Cammack, a great grandson Cayson Mailhoit, and cousins John Lenihan and Bob and Jim Abraham.
