RiverView Health Offers Many Options, Providers for Colorectal Cancer Screening

If you think only older people get colorectal (which includes colon and rectal cancer) cancer, you may want to think again. In truth, colorectal cancer is affecting more and more young adults. According to the American Cancer Society, colorectal cancer rates for people under age 50 have increased by 1 to 2% each year since 1990. Therefore, the recommended age for screening was lowered to 45 from 50 in 2021.

Tri-Valley Administrative Office to Move to the Fournet Building on Tuesday, April 4

Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc. plans to move its Administrative Office (AO) to the Fournet Building in Crookston on Tuesday, April 4. Tri-Valley AO is currently at 102. N. Broadway. As of April 4, the new address of Tri-Valley AO will be 107 N. Broadway, Suite 200. Tri-Valley will occupy the second floor of the Fournet Building which will be accessible by stairs or by elevator.

Dee Manufacturing IDEA Winner

Sam Dubuque was recently selected as the Improve Dee Excellence Award (IDEA) winner for the 4th quarter, 2022. Dubuque works on the finishing robot at Dee Manufacturing and won the award for his suggestion to improve heat treat quench operations. Dubuque has been an employee at Dee Manufacturing for 1 1/2 years.
