Swimming Mareile Meyer -Junior

Mareile Meyer is this weeks swimming Pirate of the Week. Mareile has really added a lot of personality and laughs to the team this year. Mareile is the German exchange students joining Crookston Public Schools for the year. Mareile came to the team with no experience with competitive swimming, to say she had to adapt, learn and grow quickly is a understatement. Mareile takes everything in strides with a little nervous giggle. She has a strong breaststroke race and continues to grow and improve at every meet. She also has had major improvement in the freestyle dropping time and being a vital part of her teams relays. She has been a great addition to the team and I have enjoyed coach and getting to know her this school year.
