Workforce Development Scholarships awarded to 65 M State students

Submitted (September 6, 2022) - Sixty-five Minnesota State Community and Technical College students enrolled in degree and diploma programs that lead to high-demand occupations have been awarded $2,500 scholarships this academic year, thanks to the Minnesota Legislature's Workforce Development Scholarship program. Eligible M State students pursuing careers in the fields of advanced manufacturing, agriculture, early childhood education, healthcare services, information technology and transportation have received a combined total of $162,500 in Workforce Development Scholarships for the 2022-23 academic year.

Fertile Library to Host Wellness in the Woods Presentation on September 20

Lake Agassiz Regional Library Submitted MOORHEAD,MINNESOTA - The Fertile Public Library will host an informational program hosted by Renee Cardarelle of Wellness in the Woods on Tuesday, September 20 at 10 a.m. Cardarelle will share information about Peer Specialists which support people who have lived mental health and substance use experiences.
