University of Minnesota (UMN) Extension and North Dakota State University (NDSU) Extension will conduct the annual Advanced Crop Advisers Workshop on February 8-9 at the Fargo Holiday Inn. “This workshop is designed to provide in-depth discussion on selected topics to help agricultural professionals enhance their crop production recommendations for farmers,” says Angie Peltier UMN Extension crops educator and workshop co-chair.

Crookston Visitors Bureau recently held their annual meeting and elected officers for 2022 as well as officially approving the hire of new Tourism Coordinator Cathy LaJesse. Polk County Sheriff's Office reported that a female was transported by life flight for burns sustained in a Fosston apartment fire. The fire broke out on January 13 at approximately 6:55 p.m. at 218 Hilligoss Blvd W in Fosston and the PCSO, Fosston Fire Department, McIntosh Fire Department and Essentia Ambulance responded to the scene.
