Rains force Golden Eagle softball and baseball teams to stay off of diamonds

The University of Minnesota, Crookston's women's softball team's first games of the 2010 Cocoa Expo against Concord University and Mercy College have been postponed due to rain. The games will try to be rescheduled.

The University of Minnesota, Crookston baseball team's first two games at the Russ Matt Invitational in Winterhaven, Fla. have been cancelled due to heavy rain. The Golden Eagles were scheduled to open the trip with a doubleheader against Wheeling Jesuit University today at 11:30 a.m. Heavy rains on Friday and today forced the cancellation of all games. The doubleheader will not be made up. The University of Minnesota, Crookston will play Saginaw Valley State University on Saturday, March 13. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 8:30 a.m.
