The Crookston Sports Center hosted two events this past weekend. First, a 17-team Peanut (7-8 years old) Jamboree with teams from Roseau, Thief River Falls, East Grand Forks, Bemidji, Grafton, Hallock, Red Lake Falls and Crookston participating. The games took place in the Blue and Gold Arenas.
Second, the West Regional Pee Wee B Tournament was held in the Event Arena Friday through Sunday. Teams that qualified for the tournament included: Little Falls, Elk River, Anoka, Brainerd, Sauk Rapids, East Grand Forks, Moorhead and Crookston. Little Falls and Elk River advanced to the State Tournament that will be held in Roseau March 19-21.
