Katherine Geist won the girls' division and Emily Gillette placed 35th.

The two Crookston runners, Katherine Geist and Emily Gillette competed in the Ada-Borup Invitational on Thursday, September 13. Due to incoming weather, the boys and the girls ran together.       Geist once again finished before all competitors in her division with a time of 18:45 which matches her time she ran in Roseau a week ago.       "[It was] and outstanding time," EGF Green Wave Head Coach Kirk Misialek said. "Running with the boys definitely helps."       Emily Gillette cut a second off from her race a last week and posted a time of 25:45.       Geist and Gillette will run in the Pre-Section Meet located in Bagley next week.       Follow live game updates for Pirates and Golden Eagles on Twitter: @CroxTimesSports or Snapchat: crookstontimes.       For feedback or questions, contact the Times at (218) 281-2730, Nolan Beilstein at (940) 372-8175 or by email at nbeilstein@crookstontimes.com.
