Former UMC pitcher, Zach Seipel, continues to deliver quality performances for the Danville Braves, an Advanced Rookie-level team in the Atlanta Braves organization. In the last two weeks, Seipel tossed eight innings in four appearances. In those eight innings, Seipel surrendered only two runs while striking out 11. Over 16.2 innings pitched this season, Seipel posts an ERA of 2.70. The 21-year-old has never failed to record at least one strikeout in any of his stints on the mound for Danville and has tallied more than one strikeout in nine of his ten appearances. Seipel also earned his first professional save on July 28.
