The Ada A's shut out Crookston 8-0.

    Crookston came into Wednesday, July 11 hoping to expand on their five-game winning streak. Instead, the Reds encountered the strong bats of the Ada A’s mixed with defensive miscues in an 8-0 loss.

    Lars Brevik started the game for Crookston and lasted 6.2 innings being charged with two of eight runs. Cody Wardner finished the game going 2.1 innings. Bailey Schmitz  and Taylor Kenfield  each collected two hits.

    The loss puts the Reds back at .500 with a record of 12-12 and 5-4 in league play. Crookston continues their stretch of six games in five days with a contest against the Moorhead Mudcats on Thursday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Jim Karn Field.
