Legion baseball returns to Crookston for the first time since 2016.

    Crookston (0-1) played their first legion baseball game in two years and lost 7-3 to Win-E-Mac. Jackson Seibel pitched two innings and allowed seven runs and Leyton Salentine shut out Win-E-Mac in the remaining five innings.

    Win-E-Mac jumped out to a 7-0 lead and Crookston attempted to mount a comeback with one run in each the fourth, fifth and sixth innings to make the score 7-3. Gavin Salem recorded the only Crookston RBI and Brady Butt, Walker Winjum and Alex LaFrance each scored a run.

    Crookston next plays Red Lake Falls on the road on Thursday, June 14. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.
