Crookston falls to 5-8 after dropping their third straight game.

    The Crookston Reds (5-8) committed seven errors that resulted in a 13-4 loss to Ada. The A’s grabbed an early lead tallying four runs in the first and another in the second for a 5-0 lead. Lars Brevik pitched three innings and Cody Wardner went the rest of the way logging five innings.

    The Reds put up a crooked number in the fourth to make the score 5-2, but the A’s added insurance runs in the sixth to increase their lead to 7-2. Ada outscored Crookston 6-2 the rest of the way and won 13-4 to hand the Reds their third straight loss.

    Crookston next plays the Dilworth Raildogs on Sunday, June 10 at Jim Karn at 3:30 p.m.
