Four late runs by Thief River Falls blew the game open and handed Crookston their fifth loss of the season.

Defense proved costly for the Crookston Reds in their game against the Thief River Falls Bombers as the Reds committed five errors en route to an 8-2.

The Bombers jumped out to a 3-0 lead before Crookston posted two runs in the bottom of the third. TRF added one in the sixth and four in the eighth to total the 8-2 final.

Sean Minder pitched the entire game for the Reds striking out 10. Lars Brevik picked up the lone RBI for the Reds as the Bombers also struggled defensively with four errors.
