The Golden Eagles head to Sin City to start the spring portion of the schedule.

    The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s golf team will open up the 2018 spring season March 9-10 at the Minot State University Invite at Aliante Golf Club in North Las Vegas, Nev. The Golden Eagles will then head to the Winona State University Invitational March 12-13 in Las Vegas, Nev.

    The Golden Eagles were led in the fall by Ashlee Humble (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.), who had a 87.1 scoring average with a low round of 82. McKenzie Harris (Jr., Nevis., Minn.) posted a 96.4 scoring average with a low round of 90. Megan Ryan (Fr., Oconto, Wis.) shot a 98.9, while Natasha Maninga (Sr., Menahga, Minn.) averaged a 99.3. Paige Weakley (So., Kearney, Mo.), who also plays women’s basketball, joined the women’s golf team prior to the start of the spring season. She has yet to play a tournament for the 2017-18 season.
