The last Pirates of the Week for the 2017-2018 winter season are the seniors of boys' hockey, wrestling, boys' basketball and Gretchen Theis.

Boys' Hockey

Head Coach Josh Hardy says, “Our last Pirates of the Week are our seniors. Cade Salentine, Lukas Andringa Keaton Lindgren, Ben Trostad, Tim Parr, Ethan Magsam, Drew Dragseth and Brandon Boetcher have made a lasting impact on our program through their hard work and dedication to improving our team in anyway possible. The standard they set for performance and the culture they have created within our locker room is something that will continue into the future and be a part of their legacy. We will miss them dearly and are so excited to see what they do in their next season of life.”

Girls' Basketball

Gretchen Theis - So. G

Head Coach Darin Zimmerman says, “Gretchen has been a leader on our JV team this season and has played well in her varsity opportunities. She is a very intelligent basketball player that has been steadily improving all season.”

Head Coach Wes Hanson says, “This week’s honors go to my six seniors, Collin Leckie, Jake Davidson, Luke Trandem, Colton Weiland, Luis Argueta and Jake Wagner. These guys have been solid role models for the younger wrestlers in our program. They've helped instill star qualities such as dedication, perseverance and hard work. They are a cohesive group that has been a lot of fun to coach. They were a huge part of the team’s success this season compiling a dual record of 12-5. I'm very proud of their careers and it was a pleasure working with them through the years.”

Boys' Basketball

Head Coach Greg Garmen says, “Our senior players and managers, Carter Winand, Jackson Seibel, Todd Boerger, Jared Theis, Sarah Pahlen and Karlie Brekken, have been great to work with through the years. They have steadily improved their skills and are gearing up to make a run in March.”
