The University of Minnesota Crookston softball program will hold a Winter Hitting Camp each Sunday night in January beginning Jan. 7. The camps are open to grades 7-12 and will be limited to 24 total campers.

“I am very excited to work with some softball players from the area,” said Head Coach Don Stopa. “I think each camper will be able to learn a lot about hitting with our very experienced coaching staff along with the opportunity to work side by side with some of our current hitters."

The camps will teach players how to hit like a college hitter. Head Coach Don Stopa and Assistant Coaches Rebecca Arbino and R.T. Cantillo will lead the small groups through one hour hitting sessions in the Minnesota Crookston turf room. The campers will also get a chance to work side-by-side with current Golden Eagle team members as they lead them through drills that will get them ready for the 2018 spring season.

The cost of the camp is $50.00 for all four total sessions. The camps will run from 6-7 p.m. or 7-8 p.m. on Sundays in January. Make checks payable to UMCSB. Ann an additional $10 for a UMCSB t-shirt.
