Geist took 51st in her fourth consecutive trip to state.

Sophomore Katherine Geist competed at the State Cross Country Meet for the fourth time on Saturday, November 4.

After qualifying in the snow a week earlier, Geist ran at St. Olaf College and placed 51st in a field of 174 runners with a time of 20:10.

“She ran a time a little over her normal but worked her way through the crowded field during the race,” Head Coach Kirk Misialek said. “[It’s] another good season finished and she is already looking forward to her junior year.“

Geist also concludes the season with an All State Academic status with a 4.000 GPA and a top 15 finish in Sections.
