This one measures 30.25 inches with an estimate weight of 11 to 12 pounds.

Chaz Dobias is a professional fishing guide living in Bemidji  and is formally from Thief River Falls. Dobias has great lakes in which he serves as a guide everyday around the Bemidji area, but will occasionally take a shot at a big fish elsewhere.

This time, Dobias tried his luck at Union Lake. After not much success  in regards to catching large fish off Lake Union in the past, Dobias landed quite the catch.

This one measures 30.25 inches with an estimate weight of 11 to 12 pounds. To catch this fish, Dobias live bait rigged a large creek chub minnow in 35 feet of water. This catch serves as one of the largest walleyes Dobias ever caught.

If you would like to use Dobias’ fishing services, he rents out brand new ice castles on Upper Red Lake in the winter and guides around the Bemidji/Cass Lake area in the summer. Check out his website for more information on firstcityguide.com.
