ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s golf team currently sits in sixth place out of six teams after the first round of the St. Cloud State University Huskies Invite at the St. Cloud Country Club in St. Cloud, Minn. Sun., Oct. 1.   

    Minnesota Crookston has a team score of 375, just five strokes back of Minnesota State University Moorhead in fifth place. The Golden Eagles have looked to Ashlee Humble (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) with an 87. She is currently tied for 15th. Megan Ryan (Fr., Oconto, Wis.) carded an opening round 91 and is in 19th place. McKenzie Harris (Jr., Nevis, Minn.) shot a 95 on day one. Natasha Maninga (Sr., Manahga, Minn.) turned in a 102, while Michaela Anderson (Fr., Grafton, N.D.) carded a 104.   

    Minnesota Crookston will wrap up the SCSU Huskies Invite Mon., Oct. 2 at St. Cloud Country Club.
