This week's Pirates of the Week are Amy Follette, Drew Dragseth, MacKenzie Aamoth, Kylee Meier, Cade Salentine and Katelyn Wagner.

Tennis

Amy Follette - Sr.
Head Coach Mike Geffre says, “Amy has been a member of our varsity for five years. She is and accomplished singles and doubles player giving us a lot of flexibility with line ups. Amy and her partner Ally were in state last year in doubles. We are looking at Amy to continue to be a leader and finish the season strong.”

Boys’ Soccer

Drew Dragseth - Sr. M
Head Coach Don Cox says, “Drew Dragseth, center midfielder, has been a big part of our offense and defense all season. He has got the field vision and tactical insight to set up our wings and forwards to make good attacks and will recover to help the defenders stop the counterattack.”

Swimming

MacKenzie Aamoth - 7th
Assistant Coach Aly Bergstrom says, “As a seventh grader, this is MacKenzie’s first year on the team. She has had experience with the sport having swam with Crocs, the club team, in the past. MacKenzie has a fun personality that makes her a pleasure to be around. MacKenzie is looking to be a great attribute to the team so far. I am excited to see how she progresses throughout the season.”

Girls’ Soccer

Kylee Meier - So. D
Head Coach Sarah Reese says, “Kylee Meier has played well this season. She has typically played outside defense. She is aggressive and has good ball control and speed. Meier creates an offensive threat from her defensive position. Last week, I appreciated her willingness to step up and play goalie with no experience when we had a GK injury. She played with confidence and a smile.”

Football

Cade Salentine - Sr. RB/SS
Head Coach Scott Butt says, “Cade Rushed for 195 yards and 4 touchdowns and had one reception for 20 yards. He also threw a 63 yard touchdown pass and had two tackles. Cade is a strong leader for us.”

Volleyball

Katelyn Wagner - Sr. OH
Head Coach Ashley Stopa says, “Katelyn has been doing an amazing job this year as she has transitioned to a new position: outside hitter. She has really stepped up her defense and has recorded some big kills. As a senior captain, she has been a leader on and off the court.”
