BEMIDJI, Minn. – The University of Minnesota Crookston women’s golf team finished ninth at the Tracy Lane Memorial Tues., Sept. 12 at Bemidji Town and Country Club in Bemidji, Minn.   

    The Golden Eagles shot a team score of 741 on the two-day tournament. Ashlee Humble (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) turned in a pair of rounds of 86 to finish tied for 30th. McKenzie Harris (Jr., Nevis, Minn.) shot rounds of 95 and 94 on the tournament. Natasha Maninga (Sr., Menahga, Minn.) showed great improvement on the second day shooting an 87. She improved by 16 strokes from her 103 on Monday. Megan Ryan (Fr., Oconto, Wis.) turned in rounds of 93 and 97. Micheala Anderson (Fr., Grafton, N.D.) turned in rounds of 107 and 106.   

    Minnesota State University-Mankato won the tournament with a team score of 645. They bested Minot State University and Winona State University by three strokes. Concordia University-St. Paul golfer Sophie Hill turned in cards of 75 and 74 to win the individual title by four strokes over Winona State University’s Jessica Blanchard.   

    The Golden Eagles return to action Sept. 17-18 at the CSP Fall Classic in Brooklyn Park, Minn.
