The Pirates swimming team continued their succes in a triangular in Thief River Falls placing first as a team over Fosston and Thief River Falls.

    As for individual results, Crookston got off to a great start with the 200 yard medley relay team of Merran Dingmann, Elizabeth Erdman, Kate MacGregor and Thea Oman taking first place with a time of 2:01.53. The same team also took first in the 400 yard freestyle relay.    

    Thea also won the 200 Yard Freestyle and Claire Oman placed seventh.

    Erdmann won her next event, the 200 Yard IM, and beat the closest oppenent by 12 seconds. Mackenzie Aamoth took seventh.    

    Thea Oman won her fourth event of the day in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 26.9 seconds, edging out second place by .52 seconds. Sarah Ryan finished the race in seventh.    

    In the 100 yard butterfly, Erdmann earned her third medal of the day placing second.    

    In her second event of the day, MacGregor won the 100 yard freestyle by three seconds.    

    Dingmann, Claire Oman and Muira MacRae took first, fourth and fifth respectively in the 500 yard freestyle.    

    MacGregor won the 100 yard backstoke by nearly five second.    

    Dingmann finished second in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:19.09.   

    The Pirates will next compete in Crookston for the Crookston Pirate Booster Invitational on September 14 at 5:30 p.m.
