Coach Clark says, "The first thing that jumps out at you from Brita’s resume is her spectacular academic record. Her athletic endeavors at Crookston High included soccer and basketball, in addition to track & field. Brita has earned a music scholarship at UJ and will be a part of the choral program as well. Brita had a strong finish in her senior season of track & field, particularly in the discus. Brita will have the opportunity to work with Jimmie throwing Coach Kathryn Lemm and experiment with new events such as the 20# weight and hammer. It is remarkable how many school, community, and church activities Brita has not just been a part of but has assumed leadership roles in. Brita will be a great fit as a Jimmie.”
