Led by junior Ally Tiedemann, the Crookston Pirates girls golf team finished second overall at the Moorhead Invitational Tuesday morning.


    The Pirates finished with a team score of 350, just one stroke behind first-place finisher Detroit Lakes.


    Tiedemann finished with an individual score of 79, just one stroke behind Detroit Lakes’ Shelby Buskar.


    Crookston participated in the Fosston Invitational held at Bemidji Town and Country Golf Course but the results were not available when the Times went to press.


    The Pirates return to the course at 9 a.m. Friday for the Fergus Falls Invitational held at Pebble Lake Golf Course.
