Golden Eagles unable to sweep Beavers on the road.

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Due to arriving late to the Sanford Center, the University of Minnesota Crookston men’s basketball team was unable to gain much practice time before the game to get used to the surround environment.

And despite a valiant comeback push in the second half of the game to come back from a 17-point halftime deficit, the Golden Eagles were unable to claim the win as they fell 77-75 to the Bemidji State University Beavers Tuesday evening.

UMC shot 29-of-62 (46.8 percent) from the field, 7-of-20 (35 percent) from beyond the arc and 10-of-10 (100 percent) from the free-throw line.

BSU shot 29-of-58 (50 percent) from the field, 6-of-12 (50 percent) from the 3-point range and 13-of-19 (68.4 percent) from the charity stripe.
