Attorney details lawsuit against Porter, Diocese of Crookston

Attorney Jeff Anderson and his associate, Steve Anderson, of Jeff Anderson and Associates, held a press conference on Monday, June 24 at the Polk County Justice Center pertaining to a lawsuit filed against the Diocese of Crookston regarding child molestation acts committed by former Diocesan priest, Fr. James Porter. Porter, who has since passed away in prison, was known to the Diocese of Crookston as a sexual predator when he was placed in St. Philips parish and school in Bemdiji. A number of victims from the St. Phillips parish have come forward to report abuse, which took place in 1969-1970.
