The Lions Club has helped Care and Share with several projects.

The staff and Board of Directors of Care and Share of Crookston, Inc. would publicly like to thank the Crookston Lions Club for their contributions and hard work in making it possible to house 8 more residents in our shelter.  Our thanks to Lion and board member Tom Anderson for spearheading this project and thanks, also, to Lion Fred Parnow for donating his carpentry skills, tools, and countless hours to the project.
We wish to thank Northern Lumber for supplying sheetrock, furring strips, hardware and drill bits for cost and also for the use of their hammer drill.
Hardware Hank provided paint and paint supplies also at cost, as well as donating the use of their scaffolding.
Thanks also to the UMC Men’s Basketball team for hauling that sheetrock and supplies up 3 flights of stairs and coming back later to haul the beds.
Funding for this project was provided by: Crookston Lions Club, American Crystal Sugar Co., Gary Wilhite, along with a grant from MN Department of Human Services.
Again, a thank you to all involved in the project- you will have made an impact on many lives in the years to come.
