Marvin Edward Bergland, age 80, of Watertown, Minnesota, formerly of Shelly, Minnesota passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2012. He was born January 20, 1931 to Edward and Marie (Moen) Bergland in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
Marvin was preceded in death by his son Michael Keith Bergland; and parents Edward and Marie Bergland. He is survived by his wife Martha; children Mark Kevin Bergland, Kristi Bergland and (Kjetil Drarvik); 5 grandchildren Anthony James, Kayla, Damon and Alyssa Bergland, Silje Marie Bergland Drarvik.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown, Minnesota. Visitation will take place for 1 hour prior to services in the church on Friday. Interment services with military honors will occur at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Sand Hill Lutheran Cemetery in Climax, Minnesota.
