Linda Gill, Crookston, and John and Temple Gill, Fairbault, are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Gill to Scott Averill, son of Richard and Trudy Averill, Sand Lake, Mich.
Amanda is a 2004 graduate of Crookston High School and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2007 with degrees in Psychology and Sociology. She is currently finishing her Master's degree in Social Work at the University of St. Thomas. Amanda is employed with Cigna Behavioral Health as a Care Specialist in Eden Prairie, Minn.
Scott is a 2003 graduate of Tri County High School and graduated from Lake Superior State University in 2007 with degrees in Environmental Management and Chemistry. He is currently employed as Client Services Manager at Pace Analytical Services in Minneapolis, Minn.
A June 30, 2012 wedding is planned at Peace Lutheran Church in Bloomington, Minn. with reception to follow at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The couple will reside in Eden Prairie, Minn.
