MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A Ward County man has been seriously wounded in an attack at a gas station near Minot.
Sheriff Vern Erck says the victim was slashed in the neck with a box cutter or knife about 8:15 a.m. Thursday at the Tesoro Dawn to Dusk gas station east of the city.
Erck says a 30-year-old Montana was later arrested in the Granville area on suspicion of attempted murder.
The names of the victim and the suspect have not been released. The victim told police he didn’t know his attacker.
