The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Red River at Fargo after recent rains, but only minor flooding is expected.

Forecasters say the river at Fargo will reach 24 feet by Wednesday, Nov. 4 night. That is a foot below moderate flood stage.

Last spring, Fargo residents fought off two crests of the Red River — the first at a record 40.82 feet and the second at 34 feet.
