GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota says it has added six Cessna 172 Skyhawk aircraft to its training fleet.

The airplanes will be delivered next month. UND says it has acquired 44 new Cessna 172s for its inventory over the past 18 months.

The director of the flight school's extension programs, Don Dubuque, said Cessna has been a big supporter of UND's flight training school.

Dubuque said that once UND's John D. Odegaard School of Aerospace Sciences receives the new Cessna 172 Skyhawks, it will have a total of 140 planes and simulators.
