The Crookston Police Department remind citizens of the city’s 24-hour parking ordinance. This means parking vehicles including trailers, boats, RVs and campers on the street for more then 24 hrs is prohibited.
Police Chief Tim Motherway said there are a number of trailers, boats, RVs and campers parked on the street around town and some have been there for a length of time. “These need to be moved off the street,” he said.
With summer here and the recreational season in full swing it is important to keep our streets clear of these vehicles, he added.
If your vehicle is parked in violation of this ordinance it may be ticketed and towed to the police impound lot.  The owner will be responsible for the fine, tow, and storage charges before the vehicle is released, Motherway said.
