ROSEMOUNT, Minn. (AP) — A truck driver is dead and three other people were injured after an ammonia leak in Rosemount.

Rosemount Fire Chief Scott Aker says trucks were being loaded with ammonia at CF Industries about 6 p.m. Monday when the leak happened. A driver was overcome with fumes and died.

Another truck driver had to be airlifted to the hospital, and two Rosemount police officers were taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Aker says an emergency system shut off the ammonia before it became a risk to the public. The company manufactures fertilizer.
