Recently back from Los Angeles, Lancaster’s own Ashlee Hewitt, of TV’s Nashville Star fame, helped kick off the Polk County Fair in Fertile with a concert at the grandstand Wednesday night.
Hewitt, 21, who now lives in Nashville, is making a name for herself beyond music, as she has a lead role in the upcoming film, “Elle,” a modern-day Cinderella story she’s currently filming in L.A. She recently shot her first music video as well. During her show, she sang a couple songs from the “Elle” soundtrack.
Hewitt also signed lots of autographs after the show.
