The Crookston Figure Skating Club traveled to Rochester this past weekend for the 24th Annual Open & Basic Skills Competition. The many teams that participated were from Maplewood, Rochester, Roseville, Burnsville, North Iowa, Mankato, East Grand Forks and Lake Minnetonka. All the Crookston teams participated this past weekend but the JV team, The Blazing Edge, brought home the first place trophy for the Beginner Three Division. The CFSC has their last competition this coming weekend in Moorhead and then they finish off their season with their Dream on Ice skating show in March.
