After Tuesday evening’s two-hour joint city council/park board meeting wrapped up, everyone headed out to the new arena site to check on construction progress and, specifically, to select an exterior color. Samples of approximately eight potential shades had been painted onto two corners, and after a show of hands the majority preferred a blue color that’s sort of a light, slate-type shade.
The group also took a stroll through portions of the building.
