DETROIT LAKES, Minn. (AP) — Authorities have recovered the body of a duck hunter from a lake in northwestern Minnesota.

Becker County sheriff’s officials say the 62-year-old Minneapolis man had come to the area for duck hunting. He apparently was in a duck boat that overturned.

The man’s body was pulled from Rat Lake around 3 p.m. Tuesday. Divers recovered the body in water less than 10 feet deep.

The victim’s name has not been released. A family member says he had been in Becker County since Nov. 6.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine whether the man drowned or died of a medical condition.
