A man accused of trying to solicit sex from girls on their way home from school in Bismarck has pleaded guilty to charges of soliciting minors.

Authorities say 70-year-old Dalles Spah of Bismarck propositioned girls who were younger than 12 years old last spring. He was arrested after authorities tracked down a van that matched the girls' description.

Spah pleaded guilty Thursday to three counts of solicitation of a minor. Each carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison. Judge Bruce Romanick ordered a presentence review.
