Man changes plea, faces 5 to 40 years for drug crimes

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — A Grafton man accused of dealing drugs in eastern North Dakota plans to change his plea in federal court.

Kevin Mohagen has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to posses with intent to distribute a controlled substance. His lawyer has filed notice asking for a change of plea hearing.

Authorities say Mohagen was part of a conspiracy to distribute marijuana and cocaine to people in Grafton, Grand Forks and West Fargo.

He faces up to 40 years in prison with a minimum mandatory sentence of five years.
