MINOT, N.D. (AP) — Police say a 20-year-old Minot man was shot and killed during a dispute involving several people.
Minot police say 24-year-old Jeremiah Tallman has been arrested and charged with murder in the death of Joseph Sanderson. Tallman’s first court appearance is expected to be held Monday.
Lt. Dan Strandberg says Sanderson had arrived home Saturday afternoon to find some items missing. He says Sanderson found some of his missing property at another home.
Strandberg says Sanderson and three friends then went to the Tallman home, where Sanderson used a shovel to break out windows. Police say shots were heard coming from the home moments later.
Police would not say if the dispute at the Tallman home was related to the missing property or what the stolen items were.
