Police say a woman was hit by a car and killed near an outdoor shopping area in Maple Grove.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon at an intersection near The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes. Police say the woman was standing on the sidewalk when she was hit.
Police say the driver also apparently hit some cars in the area.
KSTP-TV reports police are investigating whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. Police had received calls about an erratic driver in the area before the crash.
