‘Paws Hoofs Claws’ will care for small and large animals at your home or farm

A new business has emerged in the Crookston area and they’re already a Chamber member, too.

“Paws Hoofs Claws,” an animal companion service company, will care for small and large animals at your home and farm. Owner Karen Busch, who is insured and bonded, says she offers free orientation for interested pet owners who need animal care during the holidays and while they’re gone for business, events or vacation; whether it’s for a day, weekend, week or longer.

Paws Hoofs Claws offers services like feeding, walking or running, barn duty, playing and petting, litter box duty, and more.

Costs start at $30 and the base price changes depending on the animal(s), the duties and the location.

Testimonials on their website, www.pawshoofsclaws.com, include comments from pet owners that have said things like, “We appreciate that you are so good to her”, “Nice to know I don’t need to worry about them”, and “I’m so thankful that you take care of the dogs and the horses; in the past I had to hire two people not one.”

Busch told the Times that her home base is in Fertile, but she will travel to cities, small towns, and rural areas.

“I grew up in Newfolden, so I’m local,” Busch explained. “I’m a BSU (Bemidji State University) alum and came back to the area to be closer to my parents.”

“I’ll travel around the northwest Minnesota area to care for your animals,” she added. “I have experience with horses and other farm animals, too.”
