The pilot of a crop-spraying plane, owned by Agrimax, which has locations in Fisher and Grafton, suffered non-life threatening injuries Tuesday when the plane crashed in a soybean field around three miles north of Grand Forks.

The Grand Forks Sheriff’s Office says the pilot was conscious when removed from the wreckage. He was transported by ambulance to Altru Hospital.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the cause of the crash.
