Season will wrap up with Castle events in September and October

All are invited to the next Kids at Castle event Monday, Aug. 13 in Castle Park. Two more events will follow in September and October to wrap up the season.

The theme for the Aug. 13 is “DISCOVER and UNCOVER Castle Park.” Take time to rediscover what a treasure Castle Park is.

Kids at Castle events run from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The theme for the Sept.10 Kids at Castle is “Get Wild With Nature,” where you can come to explore wildlife and join the U of M Crookston community. Wear clothes for hiking.

The Oct. 8 event is the “Boo Run Run.” Dress up in your favorite costume and come hit the Castle Park trails for a fun family run with surprises along the way.

Kids at Castle aims to create an active and healthy community where kids of all ages (0-99) are given the opportunity to connect, explore, and play in nature. Kids at Castle has passionate partners who are committed to connecting community members through providing opportunities that engage them with the great outdoors, educating through purposeful nature-based activities, supporting active and healthy choices through movement and creative play, and partnering with local nature experts and enthusiasts to enhance outdoor experiences.
