It starts Wednesday and runs through Sunday at the Polk County Fairgrounds

The Polk County Fair will take place July 11- July 15 in Fertile, Minnesota. Join us for 118 years of family fun. Wednesday, July 11, is Sneak-A-Peek Day. Starting at 8:00 am, the exhibit building will be set up. Open Class Entry takes place from from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The Midway and Armstrong Shows on the Midway opens  at 5:00 pm. At 7:00, Open Class Judging of Agriculture and Flowers and the Rodeo will take place. Free karaoke for all ages will be open from 9 to midnight.

    On Thursday, July 12, Open Class Judging begins at 9:00 am. The must be present to win Kid’s Bike Drawing will take place at 4. The Midway opens at 4, and at 7, both the Talent Contest on the Free Stage and the Rodeo begin.

    Friday, July 13, Senior Citizens Day begins at 9:30. Both the Midway and the Hansen Memorial Free Stage open at 1:00 pm. Bingo is at 2, with another must be present to win Kids Bike Drawing at 4. 4:15 is the Kid’s Pedal Pull, with Baja Racing at 6:30 (8 cylinders, pickups/vans).

    Saturday, July 14, begins with the 5K Walk/Run at 9 am. The Midway and the Free Stage open at noon, along with Dock Dogs registration. The Dock Dogs Events will take place at 1:00, 2:30, and 4:30. Baja Racing also begins at 1:00 (4 & 6 cylinder heats). Century Farms Presentation begins at 3:45, and at 4:00, there will be another must be present to win Kids Bike Drawing. State Championship Baja Racing takes place at 6:30.

    On Sunday, July 15, there will be a church service at 10:00 am. The Midway, Free Stage, and Dock Dogs Registration opens at noon. Dock Dogs Events take place at 1:00 and 2:30, with finals at 4:00 and 5:00. The parade is at 2, with another must be present to win Kids Bike Drawing at 4. The Super Demo Derby is at 6:30, and at 8:00 the exhibits are released and premium checks are issued. The festivities end with fireworks at 10:30.
