With the latest youth tobacco usage survey showing that use is up in Polk County for the first time in 17 years, the Crookston Daily Times on Wednesday, via Facebook Live on the Times’ Facebook page, hosted a panel discussion at Crookston High School featuring Sarah Reese and Bethany Satrom, both from Polk County Public Health, along with CHS Principal Eric Bubna.

Although e-cigarettes/vaporizers contain no actual tobacco, their rising popularity among local youth is presenting new challenges in the public health sector, in the schools, and in the community.
