Booths will be set up at Norman, Polk and Marshall county fairs
MNsure navigator, Crookston-based Tri-Valley Opportunity Council, Inc., a partner of Northwest Community Action, will have a booth at three county fairs in northwestern Minnesota this summer to talk with area residents about the benefits of health care coverage.
“Please stop by our booth at the Norman, Polk, and Marshall County fairs for more information about MNsure,” said Nancy Ramon, Community Assistance Coordinator of Tri-Valley Opportunity Council. “We look forward to assisting you and your family apply for health insurance.”
The Norman County Fair in Ada got underway Thursday, June 20 and continues through June 23. The Polk County Fair in Fertile runs from July 11-15, and the Marshall County Fair in Warren runs from July 25-29.
MNsure acting CEO Nate Clark notes, “This is a great opportunity for area residents to work with a trusted MNsure navigator, get their questions answered, and see if they are one of the three-quarters of Minnesotans who qualify for financial assistance.”
MNsure-certified navigators are trained experts at local, trusted community organizations. Minnesotans can use a navigator for help with filling out an application, enrolling in coverage, and determining eligibility for financial assistance. Services from MNsure-certified navigators are always free. Year-round enrollment available for those who are a member of a federally-recognized American Indian tribe or qualify for Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare.
