Summer Library Experience kicks off June 13

This summer, kids, teens and adults are invited to join the Summer Library Experience at the Crookston Public Library to read, learn and have fun all summer long. This program invites kids, teens and adults to explore their imaginations and communities with activities, projects and reading challenges from June to August.

    To learn more, visit larl.org/explore.

The fun begins on Wednesday, June 13 at 2 p.m. with “Explore the World of Bugs.” Kids and teens can get up and close and personal with a variety of bugs, including a hissing cockroach, a giant millipede and more, with NDSU Entomologist Don Carey. The following week, local artist Trey Everett will share tips and techniques for doodling on Wednesday, June 20 at 2 p.m.
All events are offered free of charge. The Summer Library Experience is sponsored by the Friends of the Crookston Public Library, the Crookston Alliance for Literacy and Learning, Crookston Hardware Hank, and the United Way of Crookston.
